The Techatticup Mining Camp is situated about four miles east of Nelson, about 25 miles southeast of Boulder City, Nevada.
There is a general store and you can arrange mine tours, there.

Gold Mines in Eldorado Canyon yielded over $500 million dollars
from the 1860's to the early 1900's.

The Nelson District was the site of several mines -- the Duncan Mine, the Solar Mine, The Rand Mine, & the Golden Empire Mine.
Eldorado Canyon was followed to the east to the Colorado River, to what is now Nelson's Landing, where the gold was shipped to San Francisco.
