THE KELSO RAILROAD STATION ,
(Renovated 2005,)
Currently The Mojave Reserve's Welcome Center
On the rail line built in the late 1890's, called "THE San Pedro - Salt Lake Railroad".
Bought out by the Union Pacific Railroad in 1904.

Just West of NIPTON, CA, take the CIMA-Kelso Road south. Turn right at the Ivanpah Road- Cima Junction and proceed south to Cima, about 18 miles.

This town of 130+ people is on the Nipton Road, which intersects Hiway 15 south of Primm, Nevada.
It is the less travelled route to Searchlight, Nevada.
