TED KOPPEL IS  A DISGRACE....

as the lead Moderator of the December Democratic Debate.
He acted like a GOP partisan, rather than a neutral referee.

He started off, by trying to get the candidates to bicker about  Al Gore's endorsement of Howard Dean.  As the opening introduction, Koppel baited the ten "debators", by asking, "Everyone who thinks that Howard Dean can beat George Bush, raise your hands."

Then he tried to embarrass the candidates,   Dennis Kucinich,  Carol Mosely Braun,  & Al Sharpton, about their lack of campaign funds. 

Dennis Kucinich was the only one with the guts to challenge Koppel's tactics.  Kucinich rebuked Koppel on his misuse of his role as moderator. Koppel's reply was  a lame "......(ha, ha,) I have reunited the Democratic Party..."

Later,  Koppel  jumped on Carol Moseley Braun, when she pointed out that the Constitution required a Declaration of War  by  Congress to authorize the President to commit ANY act of war.  Koppel's  disgraceful reaction was to make the debator's rebuttal, overstepping his assignment as moderator, by challenging Braun's statement.  He pointed out the last  "WAR" vote by Congress was in 1941.  

Koppel's rebuttal  argument effectively  restated the facts that many Presidents committed acts of war, without a Declaration of War by Congress.  In so doing,  they violated their Oath of Office by failing to defend the Constitution, as Ms. Braun forthrightly states.

This December Democratic Debate is a milestone in the campaign.  It proves that the Government Controlled Media wants to shape the campaign in favor of the warmongers, who have been manipulating the PROPAGANDA, on behalf of the Military-Industrial Complex for over
60 years. 

The following is a list of  all the Presidents, who have betrayed the Founding Fathers, and violated their Oath of Office, in which they swore to "Defend the Constitution."  All were encouraged by the Media Oligopoly, the Warmongers' Cheerleaders.

Roosevelt SECRETLY froze all of Japan's financial assets,  the summer before Pearl Harbor.  Under International Law, that is an Act of War.

President Truman sent our troops to die in a  in Korea, without Congressional authority.  The Media called it a "Police Action", but many of my friends Died in Vain without a Congressional Declaration of War.

Kennedy put our men, in harm's way, in South Vietnam, without Congressional approval. 

Johnson used the fabricated "Incident in the Gulf of Tonkin" to get a Congressional Resolution, NOT A DECLARATION OF WAR, to condemn our troops to die there.  His Memoirs prove he knew it was a waste of our mens' lives.

Reagan committed acts of war against Grenada and Libya, without Congressional authority.

Bush#1 committed troops to die in Panama and in the Gulf War without a Congressional Declaration of War.

Clinton committed acts of war by firing missiles, without warning,  against unknown targets in Sudan and Afghanistan.  He sent our troops to die in the Balkans without a Declaration of War.  Only cowards attack people, who are unable to defend themselves.

Bush#2 started a war against Iraq, without a Declaration of War.  He turned our "defense" into a War of Aggression, a violation of the American Way.  It's the first time in history that a President has turned the United States into an Aggressor Nation.  Again, Only cowards attack people, who are unable to defend themselves.

Former Senator Braun reminded everyone of this Constitutional requirement and the entire panel, TO A MAN, remained silent.

Candidate Kerry proved his lack of qualifications, for the highest Constitutional Office, by defending the commission of acts of war, without Constitutional Authority.  He went so far, overboard, to even suggest that our Constitutional government  "....use a religious conference to bring all the religions of the world together". 

Does he think, that after hundreds of years of religious wars, that they will agree on anything?

In this "Debate", Dennis Kucinich  and  Carol Mosely Braun  were the runaway winners.
